Become a Connoisseur of Complexity and Chaos, But Also See the Sanctity of Simplicity to See Self

As the coordinator for a think tank which happens to operate online, it seems I am constantly engaged in discussions, discourse, and dialogue concerning complexity and chaos. And it appears that closely related to all that is the concept of simplicity. In fact, more than one scholarly scientist in past periods has stated that simplicity breeds complexity. And one only has to study algorithms, or Stephen Wolfgram's "New Type of Science" to see that mathematically well, that's exactly correct.

There is something beautiful about simplicity, and there is something beautiful about chaos, and the way it tends to arrange itself into complex systems, designs, and innovations. As I study human politics and human laws I see the same thing, I see how one law is written, and how humans work to avoid the law, causing more laws to be written on top of that. It seems once you write one law, it's almost impossible not to add to it. Perhaps it would be nice if we started getting rid of laws, and got back towards simplicity so that our civilization could run better.

The reality is that if we were to reduce regulations and bring everything back to simplicity, it would merely grow again. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try, we definitely should. However if you reduce regulations or add regulations you are causing chaos. There is opportunity in chaos which is also good, however the exploitation of a complex system or even a simple system is really what we are talking about when we are discussing the opportunity which is presented.

If you want to be a deep thinker and one day attain wisdom and knowledge then you need to be a connoisseur of complexity and chaos, while always understanding the sanctity and beauty of simplicity. If you can look at any system, whether it is an organic biosystem, a computer system, a work of art, a weather pattern, or any other complex system and relate to it mathematically, and instinctualy moving towards an understanding of how things are, you will be light years ahead of your fellow human.

Very few people ever go through life asking questions about everything they see and observe. Unfortunately, many of our leaders go ahead and make laws without considering the unintended consequences of their foolish actions. The reality is that everything is related to everything else, and everything you do causes a reaction somewhere else. The more you do, and the more you observe, the more you'll understand what I'm saying. Isn't it time you started asking the questions, and understanding the world you live in? Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
