Having Faith Working for You and You Working for Faith

I heard a powerful sermon one time that really hit my spirit and my mind so hard that it really inspires me to talk about it to this day, and I believe the Holy Spirit has also been ministering to me about it and totally clarified it for me...

It was about making faith your employee, now I know this might offend a few religious individuals who just hate the concept of using money, finances and work as analogies to explain a few biblical theologies, but I need to get this out of my spirit and tell people about this so they can get excited and walk in a higher level of faith.

And by the way in-case you're wondering about me doing it this way, also keep in mind that Jesus himself also when he was preaching and teaching also used these analogies to also explain powerful biblical and in the spirit phenomenon, like the parable of the talents in... The parable of the kingdom of God being like a merchant who sells things to get something more valuable.

Keep in mind that after all we are living in an economic secular world, and you need to do anything you can to reach out to them as a born again believer of Jesus, because according to God's new law they are family too, otherwise he wouldn't have sent his only begotten son to die for them. Therefore let me continue in this compelling analogy.

So how do you explain faith being your employee, working for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, never getting tired or never complaining that he wants to quite... Wow, you're probably thinking, I wish I had workers or employees like that that can work for me! Well you do now if you can start walking by faith.

Now, we all know that faith is a substance of things hoped for like it says in Hebrews 11:1 but we need to really get into the heart of this. And of course in Hebrews 11: 3 it goes on further by saying "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."

Boy does that minister to me in a big way, I hope it ministers to you as well, because what God is saying here is that, "you need to believe it, even if you can't see it" I mean look at the invisible spiritual realms for instance, you know that there are angels and demons around you or around in certain places that you walk through, but you can't see them right? That's why you need to rely on your faith, so that you can see them in the spirit.

So I want to continue to encourage you to walk by faith even when you don't see it, or you don't see results of what you are hoping for. Because remember when Jesus said "bless are those you don't see but they still believe".

So let's get back to the concept of making faith your employees that will work for you 24/7. I remember when I first started doing business off-line one thing that I've learned that was another influential metaphor was when I was doing advertising, it was as if the advertisements were my sales people or employees working for me 24/7.

Well in the spirit of the Lord and in the kingdom of God, faith can work for you 24/7, however there's a slight condition, and that is you have to promise yourself that you are also willing to work for faith... and you probably heard the term "faith without works is dead". This is so true because you need to understand that faith calls for action. In other words you can't say that you have faith and just stay in your room and pick your nose all day and expect for something miraculous to happen in your life... No, no, no, you have to take action.

And a lot of times your faith might be totally and directly in proportion to how many steps or actions you take. Like in the real world, you don't think that non believers have faith, of course they do, now it may not be faith in God, but they have faith in something, maybe in themselves or in their career. And this kind of faith will give them some degree of success. Well it's also evidence in the amount of risks they take in life... And I was also taught another way to spell faith is RISK.

However I want you to hear and understand, the difference between Godly faith and worldly faith, is that Godly faith brings wholeness in every area of life, naturally and supernaturally. You can't expect to step into the kingdom of God or even see the kingdom of God unless you have Godly faith in the father, the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit, just like Jesus said in John 3:5 "Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

So how do you get faith working for you? Well the first thing you need to do is believe no matter what, if you have some kind of sickness in your body, just believe that Jesus can heal you no matter what people say, if your life is a mess right now, just believe that Jesus can bring wholeness no matter what other people say...

Next you start reading the Bible and see what the word says about people who were in the same situations that you are in right now and see how God helped them, this will totally build your faith.

Now, how do you start working for faith? Well be obedient and humble yourself, take some immediate actions after making your faith confession and you'll be surprised how fast things will work out for you in life. Like if you humble yourself and take action without any fear, you will find a sense of peace which will unable you to walk in higher level of faith in God and in the supernatural.

Now I want to leave you with some powerful scriptures that sums up what I'm talking about when it comes to fully understanding how faith works for you and how faith was sent to you like a servant... found in Luke 17:5-10

5 And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." 6 So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you. 7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come at once and sit down to eat'? 8 But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. 10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, 'We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.'"

So do you see how faith works? It's like having someone there who is extremely reliable and is willing to work over time. The only condition is that you have to call on it and rely on it no matter what.
